Wedding Reservation Procedures

We look forward to assisting you throughout the planning process of your wedding so that your day will be just as special and memorable as you’ve always imagined. If you have questions about a package, we request that you email us at info@nevisdreamwedding.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We suggest that you reserve the date and time of your wedding as far in advance as possible to ensure that the timing is available, and to allow enough time for us to coordinate every detail perfectly for your special day.

After deciding on a date, time and package for your ceremony, a 50% deposit will be required to secure the date. Full prepayment of charges is required 30 days prior to the event. Nevis Dream Wedding reserves the right to cancel the event if full payment is not received prior to the wedding date.

We request that all cancellations are made at least 45 days prior to the wedding date. A cancellation fee of $300 will be charged plus the cost of any other expenses incurred if your cancellation is received 45 days or more before the wedding date. Cancellations received 30 days prior to the wedding date will be refunded at 50% of the deposit. Deposits will not be refunded for any cancellations received 15 days prior to the wedding date.

Payment Methods

Acceptable forms of payment include bank drafts, money orders, wire transfers and PayPal. No personal checks will be accepted.

Getting married on Nevis is easy. To get married, couples should be on Nevis for two full working (week) days before the wedding day. Here are the other things that you will need to keep in mind.

Both you and your partner must have valid passports or Birth Certificates and photo IDs.

If either of you are divorced, the original decree absolute or a certified copy must be presented.

If documents are not in English, they must be accompanied by a notarized translation. If either of you are widowed, the original death certificate of the deceased spouse, or a certified copy must be presented.

If both you and your partner have never been married before, an affidavit is required confirming single status and can be obtained from a Notary Public in your home country or on island for a cost of US$20.00 or EC$50.00.

If the ceremony is to be performed by a Catholic priest, it must take place in a Catholic Church, and a letter must come from your resident priest verifying that you are unmarried and have received the necessary instructions.

If an Anglican priest, Methodist or other minister of religion is to perform the ceremony, a letter must come from your resident minister verifying that both persons are known and unmarried. Anglican and Methodist ceremonies must take place in their respective Churches.

All Government license fees and marriage officer fees are included in your package.
